Bity Booker Bity Booker is a folk singer and songwriter based in London. Her songs are mostly voice and classical guitar with a few whimsical touches such as bells, musical saw, and sparrow sounds, but the effect is mystical, mainly due to Bity's precise, hypnotic fingerpicking style and elastic voice. Bity grew up in the Italian countryside in a house with many animals including ‘Dodo’ the crow, ‘Freddy’ the fox, and ‘Willy’ the hedgehog. This strong connection with nature has had a peculiar influence in her songwriting. Her music brings subtle strains of the 1960s psychedelic magic and genuine and original storytelling. Be prepared to delve deep into Bity Booker’s musical world and listen to fantastic stories, each song a character with a timeless personality and melody.

Alice Florence and the Vines Alice Florence & The Vines are a young Somerset-based folk band. Performing both song and instrumental music, the band explore creative and imaginative ways to perform original works as well as arranging music from inspiring artists. Much of their music is inspired by contemporary folk music as well as literature; their songs often involve extracts of poetry or are influenced by the themes and ideas of a novel which harks to the tradition of folk music as a mode of storytelling. Alice, Alex, Ford, Kate and Henry have been friends for years which has kept their mutual love of performing folk music a joy to work on. They have all performed together many times over the years in various bands and ensembles but came together in this form in 2017 when asked to explore the presence of female artists in the folk music sphere.

Alex Seel Music has led Alex Seel from Devon to London to Ireland and back to London again. Through his wanderings, Alex has picked up a beautifully crafted, warm, rootsy song-writing style with thought-provoking, subtle lyrics and a gift for acoustic guitar finger-picking. He has a growing reputation as a solo performer. His most recent release is the album ‘Spell On A Tin Drum. This and previous releases have been well received by press and radio (including BBC6 and various BBC regional/local). The album, written partly in a caravan on the west coast of Ireland and mostly recorded under a bed in London, has retained a raw emotional feel and with it gained new heights of songwriting within Seel’s unique repertoire.
