About the Artists: Celia Barrett with Kate Sharples Celia Barrett’s songs take you on a journey and tell a story. Her sensitive and sincere lyrics float amongst mesmerising guitar-led melodies which are gently soothing and thought provoking. Described as ethereal soul, Celia’s music is perfectly complimented by Kate Sharples on Flugelhorn.

Benita Johnson Benita is an experienced and original singer-songwriter. Dynamic and soulful, her songs encapsulate what it is to be human; they haunt, cajole, encourage and question the listener with careful lyrics and catchy melodies. Reviewer David Kidman described her music as “top-quality stuff".

Alex Seel Alex Seel is a contemporary singer-songwriter and guitarist with "influences from blues, pop and the British Folk Revival guitarists but a sound all his own" (Twickfolk). Music has led Alex Seel from Devon to London to Ireland and back to London again. Through his wanderings, Alex has picked up a beautifully crafted, rootsy song-writing style with thought-provoking lyrics and finger-picked acoustic guitar trait. A contemporary twist on the British folksinger/guitarist, he has a growing reputation as a solo performer, having performed around the UK, Ireland, Italy, Germany and Spain Alex's latest release is the critically acclaimed album ‘All Sails To The Sun’ (29/9/2023). He also picked up GSMC Best Single Award 2024 for the ‘No Goodbyes/Wishbone’ double A-side, having been played on Cerys Matthews BBC6, BBC Wales and BBC Scotland among many others.
